It’s October 30th, you’re done with classes for the day, and you have no idea what you’re going to wear to the Halloween frat party tomorrow night. All of your friends are scrambling to find something not too risqué, but just enough to draw a little attention. You kick yourself for not figuring out what to wear earlier on in the week, but don’t worry!!! There’s still hope to throw together a cute and clever costume!

Here are a few DIY ideas!

Got a friend, a red top, and some black spandex? Run to Michael’s and grab red tulle, elastic, and blue ribbons to make a tutu!! Then cut out “Thing One” and “Thing Two” on a piece of paper and stick it to your stomach! Voila! Dr. Seuss would be proud.

If you have a red skater skirt and a black shirt, Minnie Mouse is the perfect way to go this Halloween! Tape some white paper circles on to your red skirt and run to Party City for a pair of Minnie ears!

If you have a yellow dress, you are set to be a pineapple this year. All you need is some green construction paper and a little creativity! Head to Michael’s and grab some green paper, a Styrofoam cone, a glue gun (if you don’t already have one) and a plastic headband (headbands can be found in the bridal section). Cut the green paper out in the shape of the leaves on top of a pineapple and glue them around the Styrofoam cone. Use a glue gun to glue the cone to a headband and there you are: a pineapple in no time!

If you feel like being a bit edgier this Halloween, this look is definitely for you. Dress up as Sandy from Grease! All you need is a black off the shoulder top, and some black jeggings, leather pants or leggings. If you want to go a little further, Forever 21 has some great and affordable fake leather jackets. With a pair of red heels, red lips, and some teased out, done up hair- this look is bound to get a few stares!

This is another great look if you’re feeling a bit edgy this Halloween. The classic biker girl outfit is easy to achieve. If you have black shorts or a black short skirt, a black shirt, a red bandana, some ripped up old black tights and some markers (for fake tattoos!) then this look is definitely for you.

Feel like being a bandit this year? This outfit will surely steal everyone’s attention! All you need is a black and white striped T-shirt, dress, or tank top as well as something to make your mask out of. You can do this just with black face paint, black markers, or a cut out black paper plate with ribbon to tie around your head. Adding a tote bag with a “$” sign on it will definitely help complete this stylish costume!
