As the saying goes, two is always better than one- and that goes for boys, too. This week’s Campus Cutie isn’t one, but two! Meet the DiBlasi brothers. Mike and Steve DiBlasi are taking on their new lives as freshman at TCNJ, and even share a dorm room. Mike is a Communication Studies Major and Steve is an Interactive Multimedia Major. But don’t get too comfortable, because even though Mike and Steve are identical, they are two unique individuals with unmistakable personalities.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Mike: Play soccer and hang with friends
Steve: Listen to music, watch Netflix, and spend time with friends
What was your childhood dream?
Mike: To be a chef
Steve: To be an ice cream man
Funny Quirks?
Mike: Can never stop using my hands when talking
Steve: Randomly stare off in to the distance
Hidden Talents?
Mike: Knowing the words to The Notebook
Steve: Great listener
Steve says that one of the best things about having a twin, besides always having someone to rely on, is having twice the closet size- because everything that fits Mike fits him, too (even though Mike may not always approve of this.) Mike adds that it’s handy to be able to blame things on Steve when people don’t know the difference between the two of them.
As great as it is to have a twin, there can be some down sides. Both of the boys agree that they aren’t the biggest fans of being called “the twins,” because they are separate individuals, not just one person. If you take the time to get to know them, their differences and similarities start to pop out at you.
Funny twin story?
Steve: Even after 18 years, my grandpa still can’t get our names right. One time Mike walked through the door and my grandpa said, “Hey, Mike!” We thought he had finally gotten our names down, but then he called me Mike, too.

Mike: Ambition

Mike: Can’t hold a conversation

Whether they are playing Fifa, spending time with friends, or blasting music from their Beats Pill XL, Mike and Steve are an outgoing set of brothers who are capable of brightening anyone’s day. Between the two of them, there is never a dull moment.
