Crisp Days and Cozy Nights: Guide to the Ultimate Fall Playlist

The opinions expressed in this article are the writer’s own and do not reflect the views of Her Campus.
This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at TCNJ chapter.

There’s a crisp in the air and leaves are on the ground. You know what that means… IT’S FALL!!! Fall is one of the best seasons of the year. Not only because it is the time for fall fashions like chunky sweaters and platforms as well as scary movies, but because of the music that just feels different in the months of October and November. Crafting the perfect playlist for the fall is essential as it creates a unique experience to fall.

To create a perfect playlist you must take into consideration a few things:

The atmosphere you want to create while listening to the music

  • When creating a playlist you have to keep in mind the atmosphere you want to create, whether that is a metaphorical or a real life atmosphere.

How the music makes you feel

  • Music should always make you feel something, whether that be happy or sad. To make a playlist you are going to enjoy you must establish how you want this playlist to make you feel.

The music must be cohesive

  • A playlist is not about just one song, it’s about multiple songs put into one space. When creating a playlist you want to make sure one song flows to the next.

Must be non-skip playlist

  • You don’t wanna be skipping a song everytime it comes on, so it’s important to put music on the playlist that you’ll actually want to listen to.
