Anthony Cocuzza, ‘15

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at TCNJ chapter.

This week’s Campus Cutie is TCNJ baseball’s very own Anthony Cocuzza. You can find this shortstop on the baseball field in the spring with #2 on his jersey. This Mets fan dreams of playing in the MLB someday, but ironically chose his baseball number after his Yankees role model, Derek Jeter. When this Cutie isn’t on the baseball field, you can find him studying in the library so that he can get into law school. But despite his tough guy façade, this athlete admits that he’s as sappy as they come, and even cries during movies. But sorrycollegiettes, although though this Cutie is the total package, he’s off the market!

Have you ever cried during a movie?Yes, multiple movies. Forgetting Sarah Marshall especially, it hit me at a bad time in my life. But there are actually tons, I’m a sap.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done for love?Well my girlfriend rejected me the first time I asked her out… So I guess it’s pretty crazy that I kept pursuing her, but she had no choice other than to say yes to me eventually.

Hilarey Wojtowicz is a senior Journalism/Professional Writing major at The College of New Jersey. Hilarey works for TCNJ's Residential Education and Housing Department as a Community Advisor, but is truly aspiring to be the next Carrie Bradshaw. Not only does Hilarey love writing for her campus's chapter of Her Campus, but she enjoys writing about sports for local newspapers, as well. A true Jersey girl at heart, Hilarey is definitely not from the Boston area, but is a huge fan of the New England Patriots.
