It’s here!  It’s here!  It’s officially here!

Welcome back, Pumpkin Spice.  My one true love.

For those of you who aren’t aware, the pumpkin spice syrup has officially dropped at all Starbucks locations.  We can once again enjoy the drink, sipping its sugary goodness for the next few months before it’s pulled once more.  Gosh, why do season flavors have to treat us so.

During this season, you will find me ordering one of the following drinks at any or all of the Starbucks locations on the TAMU campus.  CorpsBucks, you are my number one.  Evans, you will do in a jiffy.  Zachary, my home away from home.  And last but never least, Hullabaloo, my convenient pit stop.

The Classic

A pumpkin spice latte.  Although it might be a little too hot right now, thank you so much Texas heat, this drink will always hold a special place in my heart.

The O.G. White Girl Frappuccino

A pumpkin spice frappuccino.  I don’t know when or how the pumpkin spice frappuccino was coined the white girl drink, but I would ironically think it whenever I would order this drink.  Unfortunately, I can never finish this drink without getting a massive stomach ache, so I have laid off ordering this drink.  But I will always remember my middle school years when my father and I would go to Starbucks and I would order this magnificent drink.

Some Tea with my Pumpkin

A grande chai (tea) latte with oat milk and two pumps of pumpkin spice.  Light on ice. Always, always order light on ice when getting a chai tea.  The ice takes up like half of the cup.  But with light on ice, they give an appropriate amount of ice instead of the Texas size portion. The oat milk is a nice heavy base.  And the pumpkin just brightens all the original flavors while adding a little something extra.

Mr. Pumpkin Coffee

A pumpkin cream cold brew.  Now, I will be honest, Starbucks’ cold brew isn’t the best… but when it’s paired with the pumpkin cream cold brew, I will be chugging the drink.  Although I do prefer to have the coffee base thinned out with a ton of water.  The cold brew just tastes a little too concentrated without the addition of more water.  To do this, I order a venti water cup, drink most of the water, then dump my tall pumpkin cream cold brew in the venti cup.

Howdy! I’m Gabriela Gomez, an avid reader who is interested in all areas of publishing and writing. And reading of course! I’m the Editor-in-Chief; I currently oversee all the publishing of articles for the Her Campus at TAMU chapter. I am overjoyed to read all the members’ articles and make any corrections that will help to elevate the article. I have been with Her Campus at TAMU since my freshman year. The first year I was a general member on the Writing and Editing committee. During that first year, I wrote a total of 23 articles and was always finding new ways to help. For my second year, I worked as the Senior Editor, publishing more than 80 articles and writing 38 articles. Now in my second semester of junior year, I have implemented a new pitch process for better organization and cleanest, I have already published more than 170 articles, and I have written 16 articles and will continue writing more! Besides working as the Editor-in-Chief, I am a dedicated student at Texas A&M studying Biomedical Sciences. I am also obtaining a minor in both English and Spanish. While not studying diligently, I work in a research lab grinding away, trying to get my name on some research papers (fingers crossed). In my free time, I read, obviously. I am also on the hunt for the best latte to ever bless this earth and love a good game of chess!
