COLLEGE STATION, Texas, October 21, 2023 – On October 18th the Office of Sustainability at Texas A&M University celebrated their annual Sustainability Day Celebration at Rudder Plaza. The event consisted of a variety of tables informing Texas A&M students on the various different organizations and groups that are devoted to contributing to a more sustainable life on campus.
The event was held between 10 am to 1 pm and had appearances from departments such as KAMU, the TAMU Green Fund, Health Promotion, and more. Students had the opportunity to get their own plant starter kit and earn their “passport” for a chance to win free shirts and other items.
The Office of Sustainability is organizing giveaway program through the entire month of October where one is given the chance to win prizes by collecting code words posted on their social media platforms and submitting them through email at the end of the month.
