Chest rising and falling at a quick pace.

There’s no end in sight as far as I can see.

The fear of the unknown is what I face.

The end of this anxiety is what I can’t see.

Rising above to be my best.

Hiding all of the troubles I hold.

Even when I can’t handle it yet,

I’m still forced to be bold.

Calling out to see who is with me,

Initially finding out I’m alone.

It can be tough to even breathe,

Especially when this is all you have known.

Now my reality has changed.

Others are with me so I don’t fall.

And the anxiety becomes estranged,

So I am able to brave it all.
