Make Spooky Pizza

This is a fun way to put a Halloween twist on making pizza at home! Head to your nearest H-E-B or grocery store and purchase the ingredients for your pizzas. You’ll need pizza dough, pizza sauce, shredded cheese, and any toppings you’d like. The total for the ingredients I listed are about $12 at H-E-B before purchasing extra toppings. This leaves room in the price range to add additional ingredients, snacks, or drinks you may want for your date night! When you make the pizzas you just shape the dough into a spooky shape (ghost, pumpkin, etc.), add the toppings, then place them in the oven!

Carve Pumpkins

H-E-B has medium pumpkins available for about $5 each! You can also decide to purchase a pumpkin carving kit that comes with tools for $5-$7. You could even buy stencil sheets with designs pre-drawn on them that you could just tape to the pumpkin for around $3. Throw on some comfy pajamas, put a Halloween movie on, and carve the pumpkins together! Warning: It can get a bit messy, so be sure to have trash bags on hand.

Paint

Both Target and Joann’s have Halloween ceramic kits available for around $5 each that you can paint yourself. These kits come with a little brush and paint, but you are more than welcome to purchase your own separately. You could also get creative and buy plain canvases for around the same price and start from scratch! Regardless, all of the supplies should still be under $25 total!

Build Haunted House Kits

Five Below and Target have haunted house kits that are $5 each! They come with all of the materials you’d need to build and decorate your own Halloween gingerbread houses. This fun activity doesn’t have to wait until December! If you really want to get into the Fall spirit, you could even make some pumpkin spice hot cocoa for the night too.

Visit Local Festivals

No matter your location, there is almost always a fun Fall festival taking place near you! If you search online, you’re bound to find a few that might catch your eye. These events are usually completely free or very affordable, so definitely be on the lookout for them! You may find haunted houses, corn mazes, vendor markets, or costume contests. It’s a great way to get out of the house for a bit and have a fun evening with your date!
