Fall starts the end

As we remember the days

Where we put our hopes to send

And the future feels to be aways

The end of the year is nigh

Recollection causes all of us to slow

Remembering all the high

But remembering there’s room for low

With the anxiety that builds

From learning from failures

Joy can be also what fills

When championing successes

As fall goes to winter

The new year comes forth

A blank slate of next year starts to flicker

A new way to feel your worth
