As the end of October approaches, it becomes inevitable to ask oneself: What will I be for Halloween? And while the possibilities are endless, sometimes our mind makes them seem limited. But do not worry, if you have a *witch’s block,* here are a couple of easy, affordable, and cute costume ideas -and how to make them- that I did this Halloweek.

  1. Merida Monday (Brave)

What you need:

  • An emerald green dress
  • brown/black flats
  • A fake bow and arrow (optional)
  • Curl your hair
  1. Jo March Tuesday (Little Women)

What you need:

  • A white long sleeve collared shirt
  • A black sweater vest or a sleeveless black shirt
  • A long dark gray skirt
  • A dark gray blazer
  • A black ribbon to make a tie
  • Black ankle boots
  • Curl your hair, and put it up in a low messy bun, leaving tendrils on each side of your face
  1. 70s Wanda Wednesday (WandaVision)

What you need:

  • An orange/brown/yellow/red short dress with wide sleeves (Like in the 70s)
  • Brown or Black knee-high boots
  • Part your hair in the middle and straighten it
  1. Anya Taylor-Joy Thursday

What you need:

  • Navy blue short dress with short sleeves
  • Gold buttons to add to the dress
  • A white belt
  • White knee-high boots or long white socks with black shoes
  • Large white buttons to make earrings with them
  • Divide your hair into a front and back section. Tease the back part to give it volume, and pin it all to the back. Do a side part on the front section and pin both strands of hair to the back of your head, covering the back section you just pinned
  1. Elizabeth Swann Friday (Pirates of the Caribbean)

What you need:

  • A white nightgown with long, puff sleeves
  • A gold necklace
  • Slippers or white flats
  • Curl your hair. Part your hair into a front and back section, the front being larger. Tease the front section to give it volume, and pin it back. Twist the pinned strand, tease it, and create a high messy bun. Take two little strands of hair from the front to frame your face

There you have it. I honestly had so much fun recreating these, and I hope you and your friends do, too. Remember to have fun and stay safe this Halloween.

Happy Halloween!
