Fall is finally upon us! It’s time to break out the sweaters and boots that have been stowed away for the past nine months and enjoy the cold weather. If you and your friends are looking for fun things to do, here are some ideas to bring the cozy vibes (and cute photo ops) into your life.

  1. Go to a pumpkin patch. Sure, everyone and their roommate will be going, but that’s because pumpkin patches are such a fall essential.

  1. Make those cookies that only show up in October. You know the ones I’m talking about.

  1. Watch a spooky movie with your gal pals, bundled up in blankets drinking hot chocolate. Alternatively, if you don’t have plans over the weekend, a Harry Potter marathon takes 19 hours and 39 minutes.

  1. Visit a farmers’ market and buy some fresh fall produce from local farmers. Maybe even go home and use those apples to make a yummy apple pie (or two).

  1. Go on a scenic fall drive with a really good playlist. Here are some of my favorites:

  1. Take cute pictures in leaves. This might be a little harder here in the South where the leaves haven’t changed quite yet, but the results are worth it.

  1. Host a bonfire with your friends and make s’mores while telling ghost stories.

  1. Wander around a fall festival, taking cute pictures and enjoying kettle corn and apple cider.

  1. Go to a thrift store and find costumes for you and your best friends.

  1. Travel home with your friends and go to their hometown high school football game. Even if you don’t know anyone else, it’s still such a fun atmosphere.

  1. Find your way through a corn maze, and celebrate with some hot chocolate.

  1. Lounge around one morning and make cinnamon banana pancakes for breakfast.

  1. Find your new favorite coffee shop and discover your new fall drink. Spend a lot of time there doing homework and laughing with friends.

  1. Decorate your room with fall candles, leaf garlands, string lights, and pumpkins. Target and Hobby Lobby have pretty solid selections.

  1. Plan a Halloween party and invite everyone you know. Have fun and enjoy being around people you love.
