Happy Fall! Or at least, in Florida, happy first few days of weather below 70 degrees. October is always a month that feels like a good change in my everyday life, even if it doesn’t really feel like fall, or October for that matter. Although–October not only brings change, but it highlights new favorites. So, with that being said, listed are a few things that I’ve given my attention to this month.

Drunk Elephant face wash

Not to sound sort of strange, but as I was standing in the shower the other day washing my face I came to the realization that my face has been clear for longer than it has ever been. I can attribute this to none other than my “Drunk Elephant Beste No. 9 Cantaloupe Jelly Cleanser.” My skin is always perfectly smooth without being greasy, and I’ve avoided any and all breakouts for months. Everyone’s skin is different, but I highly recommend this product (my skin is dry-medium & sensitive, for reference).

Recipe Tik Tok

As of recently, my Tik Tok feed has become almost all recipes, cooking, or grocery videos. I’m not sure why this is currently consuming my whole feed but I can’t really complain. It’s a form of entertainment while I simultaneously build my grocery list and brainstorm dinner. I’m currently obsessed with Emily Mariko–if you’re a Tik Tok foodie, you’ll understand. Long story short, I don’t think I’ll be off food Tik Tok anytime soon.

Morning Star Popcorn Chik’n

So random, but so good. This is a newfound love of mine–and I literally can’t stop. As a vegan, I’m always seeking out new meat alternatives, and I personally struggle with different textures of the one’s I’ve tried, but these are perfect. They are bite-size, and you can cook up a few, dip them in your favorite sauce, and be instantly fulfilled.

Graphics, fonts, and funky visuals

There’s something about a unique website, a font I’ve never seen, or a graphic that stands out more than the next. For some reason, this month, I’ve been hyper focused on anything and everything graphic design related. It feels like I’m really getting in touch with the art side of my advertising major, or something like that. I love finding interesting websites, fun Pinterest designs, or, what I’ve been obsessed with the most, is aesthetically pleasing restaurant’s Instagram feeds.

Madhappy

I’ve always enjoyed Madhappy and their products, but it’s that time of the year where I’m getting back into wearing my hoodies again. The quality is great and super thick, so it isn’t too summer-friendly, but I am so excited to be wearing it as a staple again. If you aren’t familiar with the brand Madhappy, it is an optimistic lifestyle label that aims to make the world a more optimistic place. They have hoodies, shorts, sweats, hats, and some other small items such as notebooks and water bottles on occasion. If you’ve never heard of them, you must check out their website. I’m obsessed.

This month’s favorites are a weird mix for sure, but that’s what keeps life interesting, right?
