Campus Cutie: Dillon D’Arrigo

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Tampa chapter.

Name: Dillon D’Arrigo

Hometown: Irvington, New York

Favorite thing about hometown: My high school friends.

Classification: Freshman

Major: Finance

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? On Wall Street, living a single bachelor life.

Who’s your role model? Derek Jeter. We live in a world today where it’s seemingly impossible to avoid scandal, especially if you’re an A-list celebrity. To achieve what he has with the class he’s personified in this society, it’s pretty inspiring.

Favorite food: Any sort of sandwich from a good New York deli.

Favorite movie: Currently: The Wolf of Wall Street. All time: Miracle.

Favorite thing about UT: The weather and the southern hospitality are both pretty solid aspects to a college experience.

Celebrity crush: Blake Lively

Relationship status: Recently single!

What is the first thing you notice about a girl? Everything above the shoulders– hair and facial features.

Biggest turn-off: Fake girls and sloppy drunks.

What is your favorite pick-up line? I’ve never really used one, but it’s funny listening to others try.

Describe your ideal date: Total foodie, so a good meal at an upscale Manhattan restaurant, followed by a quick drive out to my house in the Hamptons, and a bonfire on the beach with the potential of waking up to a sweet ocean view.

The sweetest thing you’ve ever done for a girl and/or a girl has done for you: One day I was out running, and I noticed this elderly woman (mid 80s) walking alone. I had seen her on a few previous occasions, so I introduced myself. Turned out her husband had died recently, and she had only few friends left so she was quite lonely. In the following weeks her and I would walk together, and I became someone she could talk to. We still keep in touch to this day.

Craziest place you’ve ever hooked up with someone: In the women’s room at a bar in NYC (we didn’t just hookup either). Classy I know.

You’re stranded on an island, what 3 people would you want stranded with you? My brother and my dad for sure. You can never go wrong with family, and probably one of my best friends. Definitely no high maintenance chicks!
