How to do autumn in ‘Cuse

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Syracuse chapter.

Summer transforms to fall seemingly overnight here in Syracuse. Now that the
boots, scarves, and sweaters are back and Halloween decorations are popping up
around campus, it’s time to make sure that your fall is full of festivities and fabulous
fashion!

Traditions and Festivities

1) My mom just sent my roommates and me a black plastic cauldron full of Kit
Kats and Candy Corn. Perfect Trick-or-Treat munchies and Halloween décor!

2) Stop by Starbucks for those seasonal drinks! Pumpkin Spice Latte? Sign me
up.

3) Fall season means fall pictures! Update your profile picture to a snapshot of
you dancing in the leaves.

Fall Fashion

1) Time to whip out those boots! I’m talking black motorcycles, brown cowboys,
chocolate riding boots, and everything in between!

2) Scarves galore! Tuck away the lightweight pastel scarves from spring and
summer and flaunt those cashmere and knit scarves!

3) Trying to spice up your traditional cardigan and leggings routine? Break out
a blazer! Kim Kardashian rocks blazers like it’s nobody’s business. They spice
up a boots and leggings outfit and portray polish and sophistication with
perfect ease.

4) No longer are nails trending summer bright colors. We’re seeing a wide array
of fall colors but with deeper and richer tones.

Happy Fall!
