One of the latest trends around campus is embellished flats. Before, I thought flats were for a dressier look rather than going to class, but now they’ve proven to be versatile in many ways. For a business-y look, Tory Burch flats can’t be beat. Embellished flats with a bow at the front or big studs are perfect for the Syracuse fall weather, which makes you look more professional even if you’re just headed for class — you never know who you will meet on the steps of Whitman or Newhouse! Neutral colored flats are perfect for the ordinary outfit. Once that winter weather hits, flats can always be easily replaced with boots. They can be found at Steve Madden, Bloomingdales, DSW, and Macy’s.
