The start of fall doesn’t just mean Pumpkin Spice Lattes and apple picking, it also means the time of year that its acceptable to put on your comfy clothes and cuddle up with a really good book. For those of you looking for some recommendations, I have compiled a list of some of the best books to read this season.

Girl on the Train

The psychological thriller by Paula Hawkins has become a recent popular read due to the movie that is to be released soon based on the book. The story follows 32-year-old Rachel in her search to find out what happens the night after she wakes up covered in blood with no memory of the previous night.

Beautiful Disaster

This novel by Jamie McGuire follows two college students who end up falling in love against all odds. This book is even a favorite among a few of our own HerCampus members!

 

Heartless (Nov. 8th)

The book by Marissa Meyer follows the life of the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland, before she became so infamously evil.

 

Talking as Fast as I Can (Nov. 29th)

If you are looking for a good autobiography, this one by Lauren Graham from Gilmore Girls will definitely be perfect. Lauren recounts her times playing Lorelai on the hit show and discusses her experiences in finding love and living in Hollywood.
