To celebrate Valentine’s Day, we decided to do a special couples campus cutie for this week! And this week, we have second-year STUdents Jordan LeBlanc and Jordyn Meade-Baxter! Jordan is majoring in computer science while Jordyn is majoring in journalism and psychology. Their interests are watching movies, gaming and listening to music!
How long have you guys been together?
Her (Jordyn): It will be three years in April. Started dating in grade 11 and we’re both in second year.
Him (Jordan): About two and a half years.
What was your most romantic date?
Her: He may disagree with me, but I really enjoyed it when we went Christmas shopping together for the first time. It was cute in my opinion.
Him: Safegrad was pretty romantic if you can call that a “date.”
Do you guys have mushy nicknames for each other?
Her: Nothing too cheesy, just like the regular “babe” and stuff like that.
Him: Mostly Boo.
What movie would describe your relationship?
Her: I’m not very good with movies or anything like that… so this is kinda hard to answer. Basically any movie that would involve high school sweethearts maybe?
Him: Silver Linings Playbook. Because we’re both crazy.
Do you guys have a song?
Her: Yeah, kinda. Muse – “I Belong To You.”
Him: I think we agreed on “I Belong To You” by Muse.
Name one thing you absolutely love about the other person!
Her: He’s really funny and knows how to cheer me up.
Him: Her loving personality.
Do you guys have any plans this valentine’s day?
Her: Not yet. We haven’t actually talked about it much- probably a dinner somewhere.
Him: Dinner date.
How did you guys meet?
Her: Met in high school, grade nine or 10.
Him: Mutual friends
How was your first date?
Her: Our first date was seeing the movie This Means War.
Him: Awkward.
