Thoughts While Walking the ‘Benny Path

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at St Vincent chapter.

Freshman or not, you have walked it. Morning or night, you have thought it.

What day is today?

Do I want to say hello?

*scrolls through social media to avoid conversation*

Have I met him before?

…Does he remember me?

Hmm, I wonder if I have time to stop for breakfast/lunch/dinner.

I should have made time for the gym. Better luck tomorrow, right?

Should I put my earphones in?

With or without music?

*glances up at a departing plane from the airport*

Am I too friendly, or not enough?

Is it Friday yet?

I am going to have some nice calves by the end of the semester.

*stops to take a Snapchat of the beautiful hillside reading, Saint Vincent

Seeing your BFF halfway down the path and getting excited.

I hope I locked my door… and turned my flat iron off.

Should I have started a load of laundry?

The library is still open, right?

If I stop at The Shack, is it time for a meal or Flex?

I’m tired of talking about the weather— or small talk.

Did I charge my laptop?

Did I even eat breakfast this morning?

Whatever, coffee will suffice.
