1.     Cut your hair! Try out a shorter look. Not only is it super chic, but it will also keep you cool (literally and figuratively) this summer.

2.     Grow your bangs out. Summer is the perfect time to do this. As the weather warms up, you are going to want your hair off your face anyway. Luckily summer styles include bandanas and baseball caps!

3.     Try going au natural. Starting to feel addicted to your make-up products? Try ditching them for a bit this summer. Show off your natural beauty.

4.     Try putting bright colors in your hair! The newest product this season is hair chalk; so if you aren’t feeling bold enough to put purple dye in your hair, try this temporary color out for a night.

5.     Get a new piercing! Everybody is a bit more laid back in the summer. Try it out, and if you don’t like how your piercing looks never fear! You can always take it out before school starts up again.

6.     Try henna! The warm weather is the perfect setting for henna. Sun helps the color set and intensify. Try it out with some of your friends while you soak up some rays.

7.     Rock the bed head look. Whether you have spent the day in the pool, in the sun, or out on the go, this is the easier look to achieve. Use the natural grit from the day and place your hair in a bun for a bit. Leave it, let it back down, and whatever you do just rock it.

8.     Sport a hot color on your lips! Bright lips look great with little or no other make-up. It is an easy and chic way to polish your look on the go.

9.     Lighten your hair. Whether you bleach it, create an ombré look, or just use some sun-in, embrace the lightness of summer. The sun naturally lightens hair, so this might be a fun way to exaggerate the natural. Plus it instantly makes you appear tanner.

10. Dye your eyebrows. The sun that lightens the hair on your head also lightens your eyebrows. So if you are like me and have brows that disappear after a few days in the sun, ask your hair stylist to dye your brows! Now, you don’t have to worry about coloring them in!
