How to Transition Your Summer Wardrobe Into the Fall Months

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at St. Law U chapter.

As we move into the cooler months, it is important to not forget about your summer wardrobe pieces that may still be laying around! There are many ways that you can transition your summer wardrobe into fall outfits so that you are still able to keep your summer clothes at school. Here are some ways to do so!

Wear your summer dresses over leggings. Instead of bringing your summer dresses home, you can still wear them in the fall. The easiest way to do this is to pair your dresses with leggings (or tights) and boots! This will ensure that you are able to continue to wear your summer dresses, but with fall spin.

Wear your dresses with riding boots. Another good way to put a fall spin on your summer outfits is to pair them with riding boots.

Pair your summer sweaters with a scarf. Your lightweight sweaters can be very useful going into the colder months. These are perfect because you can throw a light jacket on over them, or even wear a scarf in a neutral or earthy tone, which is a perfect statement for the fall.

Wear your booties. Although booties can be worn throughout the summer, these are perfect to wear with dresses or skirts in the fall. They are also a perfect shoe to wear with your jeans and sweaters!
