The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window Short Review

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at St. John's chapter.

I was astonished and underwhelmed after watching the Netflix original T.V. show, The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window, until I realized it was a spoof of The Woman in the Window and The Girl on the Train. To say the least, I was overjoyed after coming to this profound realization. I would say this series was well worth watching, from the famous spin on mental health advice by a familiar psychiatrist, to the excessive wine drinking, occasional hallucinations, and frequently dramatic dread of rain. With only 8 episodes, I’m confident that anyone, like myself, could watch this show in one sitting. Get some popcorn and get ready to be entertained. .. It’s difficult to write a review for a film like this without giving away the plot, but I believe it’s one of the aspects of the film that makes it so compelling. All I can say is that none of the characters should be taken lightly, and you should keep an eye on them at all times. You will not be disappointed if you combine a study break or a self-care weekend with this show.
