4 street art murals spotted around NYC

Everyone knows New York City is full of street artists, here’s a few of the most unique and colorful works seen.

  1. This mural shows fashion legends Anna Wintour and Karl Lagerfeld, but with a skeletal twist.  Location: L’asso Pizzeria on Kenmore street and Mott street. Artist: NYC born Bradley Theodore. He has also painted Coco Chanel, Marc Jacobs and Kate Moss.

  2. A colorful mural of Basquiat and Andy Warhol wearing boxing gloves, with the phrase “Fight for Street Art” written on the side. Location: N 9th street and Bedford Ave in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Artist: Eduardo Kobra

  1. “Freedom and Emancipation of The Natural World” depicts a not so typical headshot of the Statue of Liberty. Location: Off Madison Ave in Harlem. Artist: Mexican muralist Sego.

Calling all Yankees fans. This one’s for you. Hall of Famers Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth. Location: Yankee Stadium, outside of Stan’s Sports Bar. 836 River Ave. Artist: These two pieces were a joint project by artists Lexi Bella and Danielle Mastrion.
