Summer has finally come to an end, and St Andrews’ girls have welcomed autumn by ditching their summery dresses and tank tops for cosy knitwear and coats. Fur has made a big comeback this season, girls raiding their mothers’ wardrobes or rushing to the nearest charity shop to find their fur piece. I am a huge fan of the fur gilet, and took this picture of Sophie Becker wearing hers in her bedroom on Argyle Street. The fur’s quirky colouring, a mixture of black, white and blue, make it perfect for jazzing up a simple day outfit. However, if you want to achieve a truly elegant look on a winter’s night out, I recommend that you wear one of these furry wonders over your party dress.
