Our campus celebrity this week is the lovely Amelia Summers, from San Diego California. Amelia is a first year joint honours student reading History of Art and International Relations and has loved her first year at St Andrews. She is a contributing writer for HC St Andrews.

Where is your favourite place in St Andrews? The left front tower in Younger Hall, if you climb your way to the top there is a balcony which has incredible views of Sallies quad!
Where is your favourite place to go for a drink? The front two seats at the Golf Hotel that look over the scores – the view is beautiful!
What is your favourite restaurant? The gnocchi at the Glass House is delicious!
What is favourite café? It has to be toss-up between scones and tea at Gorgeous and lunch at Café in the Square!
Favourite experience this year? I got really close to Michael Phelps during his visit to play golf!
What will you miss most about St Andrews this summer? Just the town – it is so beautiful!
What are your plans for the summer? Just going home to California and spending time with my family and friends.
What is the first thing you will do when you get home? MEXICAN FOOD! There is twenty-four hour dive through on the way home from the airport so I can get a quesadilla whatever time I get home!
