This is a Seattle classic; only a quick 2-minute drive from SPU, or a 20-minute walk, Kerry Park provides a breathtaking view of the city. If you choose to walk around on Highland Drive, you will discover more hidden viewpoints and can admire the beautiful architecture around Queen Anne. This is the perfect place to go for a brisk walk, or to enjoy a leisurely late-night walk after a scoop of yummy Molly Moons. J

The Magnolia Bluffs are in the perfect location to admire a beautiful sunset or even go for a sunset drive around Magnolia Boulevard. There are a few different places to stop and admire the view along the drive, and a few different walking paths as well.
If you are feeling extra ambitious and are willing to drive or take the bus, Magnuson Park is a great destination. This park is located just past the UW campus, and has a beautiful view of Lake Washington. When the weather gets warmer later in Spring Quarter it is the perfect place to go for a swim. The park is lined with beaches and docks that are great for tanning or for jumping in to the water.
