Her Campus: What’s one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
Jamye Bingham: It would be the fact that I am very shy but also very goofy. I love to laugh and I enjoy being around people with great spirits.
HC: What do you do in your free time?
JB: I am definitely listening to music. Music is like therapy for me.
HC: Why did you decide to join a Greek organization?
JB: I wanted to be a part of something that was much bigger than myself. I have the desire to help the community and uplift the image of African American women. I was so impressed with the ladies of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority that I decided to do a little research to see what they were about. I witnessed the service that they put forth and the leadership qualities they exemplified. Long story short, I fell in love with the sisterhood and the standard that the ladies upheld.
HC: Where is a place you’ve always wanted to travel to and why?
JB: I have always wanted to travel to Las Vegas. Remember, “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.”
HC: What’s the most important thing in your life right now?
JB: My health and success.
HC: How would your friends describe you?
JB: My friends would describe me as kind, honest, determined and outgoing.
HC: What’s your favorite memory?
JB: Celebrating my 21st birthday with my sorority sisters and friends.
