Two weeks ago HCS interviewed Charlie Child, a one we hope to see rise in music. This week we caught up with another music maestro who is friends with Charlie and they also collaborate together. Here’s what Hayley had to say:
Hi Hayley so what year are you in at Southampton?
I am in second year.
What genre of music do you describe yourself?
Acoustic/folk/pop.
How did you and Charlie meet?
We study music together at uni and our halls were quite close last year. We were both also in showstoppers last year and we just party lots together haha.
Do you write many of your own songs?
I write my own songs and Charlie and I are currently planning on starting to write together.
Exciting! Where’s the best place you and Charlie have played together?
We’d say Vodka Revolutions as we got so many free yummy cocktails bought by some of our fans!
Ooh that’s a nice perk of the job! So what’s your favourite artists/band at the moment?
That is a tough one but I would have to be Bastille, Laura Marling and the Staves.
I like their stuff too. Will you and Charlie continue to make music together after uni?
