After several chapters’ indiscretions have been plastered over both local and national news, it seems another chapter may be following suit.
Sigma Chi fraternity at the University of South Carolina has been temporarily suspended for hazing allegations, said a university spokesperson last Friday. The news of their suspension makes the list of fraternities in poor standing that much longer.
After the university was informed of Sigma Chi’s alleged hazing after Sigma Chi nationals suspended the chapter. USC has started investigating the incident in question. However, that incident has not been released and no specific reasons have surfaced as to why this chapter was put on temporary suspension.
