Today is National Coffee Day, which means you can get your fix without breaking the bank… I’m talking to you Starbucks! If you didn’t already know, coffee is basically an endangered species and might not be around much longer (you can read more about this here). You might as well drink all the coffee you can get before that option goes extinct, so check out the best deals below.
1. Dunkin Donuts
You can get a medium sized coffee for just 66 cents (it’s their 66th anniversary), but if you happen to follow DD on Twitter, they’re picking 66 followers to recieve a year’s worth of coffee for free! We suggest you go follow them right now.
2. Starbucks
They’re not offering a discount, but they are expanding their intiative to save the planet (which you should take them up on if you want coffee around for the rest of your life). Starbucks will help plant a coffee tree for every order of Mexico Chiapas blend. Their goal is to plant 20 million coffee trees by the end of the year to combat the impacts of a disease killing the plants. I’d really like to enjoy a cup of coffee when I’m a retired senior probably reading the newspaper, so if you could help a sista out and support this cause, old me appreciates it.
3. Krispy Kreme
You get a free coffee, you get a free donut, and you get a free coffee AND donut! Seriously, Krispy Kreme always has our backs. They’re giving away free coffee and donuts and all you have to do is walk in their store!
