Soft Jams to Bob Your Head to

As finals week quickly approaches, it seems to be stress is at a high, immune systems are at a low and the weather can’t figure itself tf out (seriously, what is going on?) With everything on your plate, you’re probably in need of some serious R&R. Here’s what I’m listening to this week to keep myself somewhat stable. Hopefully it does the same for you.

1.) Omaha // Toro y Moi

If you haven’t yet heard of Toro y Moi, give him a listen if you’re into slower 80s inspired sound. This song is quite different from his other stuff, but still so so good.

2.) So Now What - Flipped // The Shins

I’m not the biggest Shins fan, but this song popped up in my discover weekly and I fell in love with the beat and the lyrics

3.) Cooks // Still Woozy

I had never heard of Still Woozy until my roommate played this song one day. If you like this song, listen to “Lucy” by him as well.

4.) Nothing // Derek Simpson

I literally haven’t stopped listening to this song since my boyfriend showed me it this past weekend. I’m not super into his other music, but this song is UNREAL good.

5.) Different Now // Chastity Belt

I’ve been listening to this song since the beginning of summer and I’m still not sick of it.

6.) Dunno // Mac Miller

I am still torn up over Mac Miller’s death. His latest album Swimming has been on replay since September 7th.

7.) Don’t F*ck This Up // Andrew Applepie

Alright, this isn’t exactly a soft jam, but it bumps regardless. Also, idk about you but his last name seems sus.

8.) Fallingwater // Maggie Rogers

My girl Maggie, never fails to deliver. This song was released over the summer and if you haven’t given it a listen yet WATER you doing?

Hopefully this gets your head bobbing, your foot tapping and your cortisol levels lower. Take care of yourself and others.
