Snapshot: Saint Joesph’s

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at SJU chapter.

It is sad to say that we have less than a week of school left, but nothing beats the warm weather and beautiful views on campus at this time of year. I mean, isn’t that part of the reason why we chose Saint Joe’s? Campus in the springtime is why I love this school and one of many reasons as to why I’ll miss it so much come Tuesday. Finals week is beyond stressful, but remember to take study breaks and just sit outside for a few minutes to enjoy the cherry blossoms and sun for a few more days!

Barbeline is a great place to lay out for a few minutes or even hours. Not only is the view picturesque (aka instagram worthy), but the steps and tables are a fun spot to study and hang out with your friends. It’s the perfect time of the year to take advantage of this outdoor scene.

As you can see, cherry blossoms are spotted everywhere around campus. The less-instagrammed side of Barbeline is quite as nice as the bell tower itself, and this view definitly brightens up the walk on City Ave.

Philadelphia’s sunsets are some of the prettiest I’ve seen. Campus offers the best views of the sky changing from blue, to purple, pink and even orange. Make sure to stop and simply take in the sunsets over the next few days. The sights are truly unforgettable!

Rebecca
