Why Seton Hall Will Always Have Our Hearts

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Seton Hall chapter.

Whether it be the D1 pride we hold as a school, the short train ride away from the city, or the professional academic internships provided, we all chose Seton Hall; and we have plenty of reasons to be happy about this.

1.     8 a.m.’s are easily conquered with the help from Dunkin

Okay so maybe not easily…. But we’d like to pretend! At least we can rely on Dunkin to wake us up!

2.     the Caf.’s M&M cookies

New fad diet? Grab as many of the Caf.’s warm candied cookies and when you think you’ve taken too many, take two more….KIDDING. But not really.

3.     Basketball became our new favorite sport

Basketball fan or not, the D1 title gives all a small sense of pride! We won’t lie, we more often than not will pretend to know everything about basketball!

4.     Blue plays a HUGE part in our closets

Royal blue never really was our color….until now! Shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, jackets, you name it. We filled our closets with Seton Hall gear and we’ll wear it all with pride.

5.     Seton Hall or Hogwarts?

We can’t help it that our Chapel and President’s Hall have similar looks to the magical castle. If we didn’t know any better, we’d think they were built by J.K. Rowling!

6.     Home away from home

It is as simple as that. Seton Hall somehow managed to find a way into each of our hearts and will forever be our home.

Hello all, my name is Courtney Jenney and I am one of the writers for the Seton Hall Her Campus. I am a Journalism and Public Relations major studying as a full time student at Seton Hall University. I consider myself a lover of all things beautiful; fashion, well-being, beauty, health, art, travel, and music. I was born and raised on Cape Cod in Massachusetts; home to beautiful beach views and royal history. My home is an hour south of Boston; which is why I have a love for all of the New England/Boston sports teams. As passionate for writing as I am, I am striving to entertain others with my writing and provide lively topics for other students around campus! Cheers to the future! XO
