The Sunnies of Sunny Seattle

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Seattle U chapter.

As spring transitions into summer and the sun breaks through those clouds, it’s time to break out those sunglasses!  With such a wide variety of styles and prices

They are possibly the easiest accessory that may be used transform or complement any outfit! This week, they were certainly the essential accessory on Seattle University’s Campus.

Seattle U student Annie Clark dons a pair of Tom’s sunglasses while soaking up the sunshine in front of the library.

Nicole Momaney rocking white-rimmed aviators while enjoying her lunch in the sun.

Maya Phillips keeps it classic with a wire-brimmed pair of Ray Ban-esque shades.

Student Jessie Rice brings out her funky heart-shaped sunnies, giving her a sort of festival fashion look.

Whether they are high fashion, classic, or just cheapies, sunglasses are a fun and easy way to not only protect your eyes but also transform an ensemble. So as the temperature rises and the sun comes out, break out those sunnies that have been gathering dust all year and show us your favorite pair!

I am a senior at Seattle University, studying both Communications and Spanish. My passions lie in fashion, social justice, writing, and editorial work. I am looking forward to being a Campus Correspondant with Her Campus, and can't wait to create a unique space online with the students of Seattle University.
