By this point you are either sick and tired of all the La La Land hype, or if you’re like me, you still can’t get over it. I’m still listening to the album, singing my heart out, and googly eyeing Mia and Sebastian on the purple album cover.
Much to my fannatic heart, it was recently announce that there is going to be an actual live La La Land musical. Before you get too excited though, I don’t mean the movie will become a New York musical production (yet), instead it will be like the Game of Thrones Live music experience.
La La Land in Concert will be conducted by the movie’s music writer himself, Justin Hurwitz (genius!) and the audience will be graced with a real life orchestra playing all the wonderful La La tunes from Another Day of Sun, to Someone in the Crowd, to A Lovely Night! And before you ask…no, Emma and Ryan will not be making an appearance, sadly.
La La Land in Concert begins on May 26th and 27th at the Hollywood Bowl, in Los Angeles. Now we wait for more tour dates to be announced, and cross our fingers that a city near us gets lucky!
