Everyone has a favorite Friends character. You automatically know which one you’d be sipping coffee with at Central Perk. You have definitely analyzed whether we’re a Joey, Rachel, Ross, Phoebe, Monica, or Chandler too. But deep down, all of us girls have a little bit of Rachel. Whether you’re a bit spoiled, or just trying to find your way in the real world, here are ways Rachel Green is your total spirit animal:

You feel totally and completely independent…until you check you bank account.  911, Mom? A little help please!

Once you realize you’re broke it hits you like a ton of bricks, you know there’s only one option left:

Finally, you think your hell week of classes is over … then BOOM! Surprise, there are test quizzes and papers due next week all within the same day.

You handle finding out the guy you’ve been crushing on has a new girlfriend with the utmost maturity.

Don’t get us wrong, guys are great and all, but your inner Rachel is all about girl power.

You know the true meaning of friendship and have an inseparable bond with your girlfriends.

You are smart and quick-to-think, always having the most perfectly sassy and sarcastic comment to toss back at your haters.

You and your friends are so comfortable together. You’re not afraid to pick fun at each other’s flaws.

When your meal swipes start running low, you feel confident that you can be totally domestic and whip up a perfect dinner.

Just like Rachel, you never let anybody define you or make you feel small.  Nothing is ever going to hold you back!

Your weekend nights consist of sending risky text messages and posting Snapchat stories of your less than shining moments.  It makes you seriously consider leaving your phone at home.

It may take you a while to start feeling this way, but you are a total go-getter that is confident in what she wants.  Just like Rachel you aren’t going to let any obstacles stand in the way of you and your happiness.

You may not have it all figured out now, but you’re growing up and making mistakes is all a part of that.  Life is full of its ups and downs, but just like Rachel you have a strong head on your shoulders and an amazing group of friends to help guide you through!
