I wanted to take a second and document the end of my first semester as the Senior Editor of HerCampus Scranton and as I reflected, I realized that all my joy about this semester regarding this position is because of my writers.
I want to thank each and every member of our chapter for putting up with my silly theme weeks and my ask that you write a few articles each semester. It brings me so much joy to read all of your words at the end of every week, and for the most part, I didn’t have to beg anyone to write, so thank you for volunteering!
This semester I also implemented my own edition to our chapter, our first Writing Workshops. I initially started these as a resource for my writers to have easy access to me for any questions or concerns they had about writing articles, but it quickly became a time I look forward to, with all of us writing our articles together.
I received so many amazing articles this semester that have completely blown me away. I’m so grateful to everyone who has written, and I can’t wait to see what you write in the future! I absolutely love my position as Senior Editor and I look forward to another amazing semester with all you guys.
