Meet Hayley Harris, a single, heterosexual student here at SCAD Atlanta. She is now a senior student and was kind enough to answer some questions about her dating life and college safety.

CS: Have you dated at all at SCAD?

HH: No, I haven’t yet.

CS: Have you ever been in a long-term relationship?

HH: How long is long term? I have had a relationship last close to a year.

CS: Are you looking to date at SCAD?

HH: I’m not really looking. I’m much more go-with-the-flow. I’m never really looking to go out with people, but when the opportunity shows then I go for it.

CS: Have you ever asked a guy out?

HH: No.

CS: Have you ever gone on a date where a guy made you feel scared?

HH: No. I go off on feelings and vibes. I don’t go out with him if he makes me nervous.

CS: So how do you tell a guy now, when you don’t like the vibe you get?

HH: It’s either straight up ‘no,’ or body language. I start with body image. I make myself look more disinterested and try to be as polite as possible. But if he keeps going then I’m more rude.
