The word Strong consists of six letters, but my version of it consists of three: Mom. The kind of
love you feel from a mother is the purest form of love. It’s the kind of love you hold onto for a
lifetime; the kind of love you cherish with every bone in your body. It’s a strong kind of love. A
mother’s love is nurturing, safe, endless, and warm. Raised by a single mother with three kids by
the time she was twenty-one years old, my Mom had her hands full. Aware of the challenges
ahead not once did she take the easy road nor did she give up. The amount of love and
compassion that my mom gives to my siblings and I are extremely precious. Again the word

Strong is raising yourself while raising your children also.
Strong is giving your kids undeniable love while being a single parent.
Strong is always finding an answer or solution to any and every problem.
Strong is being able to adapt to any situation.
Strong is being selfless.
Strong is being aware and breaking those generational curses.
