SAU’s Annual Self-Care Drive

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at SAU chapter.

Collegiettes are probably beginning to see these boxes around campus.  Wondering what they’re all about?

April is occupational therapy month, and SAU’s chapter of Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA) is holding a self-care drive.  SOTA is taking donations of items such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and deodorant.  The items will then be provided to local mental health organizations.

For those who are interested in donating, consider shopping at a local Dollar Tree.  All of these items can be purchased on a budget there!  There are donation boxes in Rogalski, Cosgrove, the Health Science building, the chapel, the link, and the library.

SOTA will be collecting items through Friday, April 27.
