Need last-minute ideas to host an unforgettable Galentine’s Day? No worries! Here are some ideas to help spark some creativity!

Invitations

If you want to be EXTRA, create some invites to pass out to your girls. There are plenty of free-to-use websites that can print off your invites for you. We love Greetings Island. A special touch to your invites can be some burlap string or silk ribbon. We adore getting fake flowers from the dollar store and cutting the flowers off to attach to invites!

SWEETS

It’s last minute, so don’t stress about baking everything. Grab your favorite grocery store cake, various cookies, and chocolates. To go the extra mile, use a Crock Pot or fondue set to have a chocolate fondue station. We recommend pairing strawberries, raspberries, graham crackers, brownie bits, and marshmallows with this. Never forget that there can always be more chocolate!

Brunch? Dinner?

An easy assembly food is sandwiches. Now, we don’t want a healthy lettuce wrap. This is your one day to relax from your significant other. Make sandwiches that are worth the carb count. Our favorite sandwich recipe is:

  • Hawaiian Bread rolls
  • Whipped butter spread
  • Ham
  • Provolone/Swiss Cheese

Just place the ham and cheese inside of the Hawaiian Bread rolls, place whipped butter on the side(s) of the buns. You can preassemble this and then when your guests come, pop them in the oven so that the cheese melts. As Paula Dean says best, butter fixes everything.

Wine

We will always suggest some rose or your favorite wine for Galentine’s Day. It will pair well with the chocolates and sandwiches! Want to get more sophisticated? Our EXTRA tip is to create some mimosas or purchase some champagne. Add some raspberries for good measure.

Activities

Sure there are some team building/bonding activities you COULD do. But do you WANT to have to think on your day off? We suggest to have some card/board games as backup, but Galentine’s Day is the day for relaxing. *HINT* To All the Boys I Loved is coming out February 13th, which makes it perfect to watch with your girls! After you’ve had your fun with that, old seasons of the Bachelor are on Netflix, so making fun of that should be an amazing night!

Photo Ops

In all the chaos (or hopefully lack thereof), make sure to take plenty of pictures of the party! Target has amazing rose gold backdrops that would work perfectly for a photo session. Make sure to buy some roses, too, to pose with them!

We hope you have an amazing and safe Valentine’s Day weekend! Don’t stress too much about party planning. Even if you end up just sipping on wine and watching the Bachelor, we know you’ll have the best time!
