Five Disney Movie’s That Will Take You Back In Time

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at SAU chapter.
  1. Fantasia

Every 90’s early 2000’s students will remember this movie. I remember sitting in music class when our music teacher put this on. I was so excited. Fantasia took classical pieces of music and animates a story to play along with it. If you don’t remember this movie that is perfectly okay. I would highly recommend watching it for a feel-good of your childhood.

2. Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey

I wasn’t even born yet when this movie came out. I remember watching it though as a young child. It would make me cry, but in the end, they were happy tears. If you love dogs and cats, you are sure to love this movie.

3. The Little Mermaid

Who doesn’t love The Little Mermaid? To this day, I will take the time to watch this classic. I can remember as a child pretending to be a mermaid in my own pool every summer. It was one of my favorite things to do as a child. Join Ariel and her crew on an adventure of love and trifles. Make sure to sing along with Sebastian as he sings Under the Sea.

4. Hocus Pocus

Its spooky season everyone. I, of course, had to add this one in. If you haven’t watched Hocus Pocus before, you need to stop what you’re doing. Check your local channels that are playing Halloween movies it is sure to be on there. This is one movie you don’t not want to know. As Winifred Sanderson says “Oh, Look. Another glorious morning. Makes me SICK!”

5.Halloweentown

https://www.commonsensemedia.org/movie-reviews/halloweentownI chose this movie as number five because I wanted to end this with an awesome note. This movie defined my childhood, for five years I went as a witch for Halloween. This movie gave way to three more movies in the series which I love. You can also find this movie playing during Halloween, but, I play it year-round.
