Even if you can’t get out of town on vacation this Spring Break, you can practice some good self-care techniques.
1. Practice expressing yourself through art
This can be done by buying some cute adult coloring books, painting, or just finding a craft that interests you personally on Pinterest.
2. Practice mindfulness to further your understanding of self!
This can be done by focusing and quieting the mind through mediation. This is always a good reminder that the world is so small, and most problems are only temporary!
3. Binge movies where the weather is warmer to pretend you are there

4. Have yourself a spa day
You can create this through something as simple as bath bombs and face masks. Or check out a spa in the Quad Cities. I personally like The Spa at Hotel Blackhawk.
5. Attend a new workout class in the Quad Cities
Use the MindBody app to find the perfect deal for you. My personal suggestion would be to try Barre563 for the 15 days for 20 dollars. A perfect way to connect your mind to your muscles by focusing on small controlled movements.
