Welcome back my lovely bees! It is the beginning of the spring semester at Ambrose and that means our lives are about to become stressful all over again. But have no fear, Her Campus is back and ready to make your lives a little easier. So while you procrastinate over all the reading you have to do for next week’s classes, here are 10 thoughts we all have at the beginning of the semester.
#1 IT’S SYLUBUS WEEK! Time to party and avoid all thoughts of homework, case studies, and group projects that are sure to be awaiting us in the months to come.
#2 Realizing that maybe Dollar Bottles at Rook’s was not a good idea when your alarm clock goes off for your nine o’clock class.
#3 Remembering why coffee is the love of your life.
#4 We have buzz bucks again! One hundred dollars worth of buzz bucks for us to freely spend at Rogo and the Beehive.
#5 But promising yourself that you will not spend all one hundred dollars within the first month of the semester…even though we all know that we most likely will.
#6 Looking at your bank account after buying/renting all new books for the semester and dying a little inside.
#7 Being back with your friends and living on your own is great, but you are kind of missing your parents along with your mom’s homemade cooking.
#8 The extreme anxiety of seeing who will be in your classes and if you will be with any of your friends.
#9 Mentally scheduling in your daily nap time and Netflixing into your daily routine.
#10 Telling yourself that you are not going to procrastinate this semester! It is time to get down to business and work hard! That GPA isn’t going to raise itself.
