10 Self Care Practices to Explore as Mid-Semester Approaches

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at SAU chapter.

As we get close to approaching the one month mark of school, sometimes we get so wrapped
up in our assignments that we can forget to effectively take care of ourselves. Here are 10
different ways that you can practice self care and unwind this semester.

  1. Listen to your favorite music
  2. Try a face mask
  3. Try an adult coloring book
  4. Do some baking
  5. Go for a drive
  6. Buy yourself some flowers
  7. Turn off your phone for a little while
  8. Watch your favorite show
  9. Read a book
  10. Take a nap

These are all just a few ideas on how you can sit back and relax this semester. Remember, sometimes you have to put yourself first. Take a break from your school work for a little while and put your own needs first.
