Presidential Candidate Opinion of the Week

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at San Francisco chapter.

As the 2016 presidental election gets closer and closer, Her Campus San Francisco will be staring a new blog series that will feature a student’s opinion (good or bad) on a presidential candidate in the race for the seat of the White House. This week, we have an English Literature major discussing why she will vote for Democrat candidate Bernie Sanders.

Name: Kate Doin.

Major: English Literature.

Voting for: Bernie Sanders.

Her Campus: So who would you want to vote for and why?

Doin: Bernie, because he seems to care about individuals, and has a good track record and experience being a Senator and working at LGBT rallies and such. He is consistent with his views and trustworthy.

HC: So who would you not want to see at president?

Doin: Trump. He acts childish, and can’t act mature during his debtates. All the Republican debates seem really childish versus the Democratic debates, which actually talk about important issues.
