Being a senior, I realized the majority of the time I only go to Notre Dame for sporting events and to study. That being said, I found a new study spot at the Duncan Student Center. Here are my first thoughts of this new addition to the Notre Dame stadium:
1. What is that amazing smell?!
The student center has three dinning options on the first floor: Star Ginger Asian Grill and Noodle Bar, Modern Market, and Hagerty Family Café.
2. They used the old football stadium seats as decorations!
What a great idea to incorporate the history of Notre Dame football into a modern building.
3. Do the wooden stairs remind anyone else of the movie “The Internship” staring Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson?
I’d also be down to see a flash mob preform or watch a movie on the big screen across from the stairs…is that just me?
4. Rock climbing is free for students?
How come I haven’t come here everyday? New goal in life: become an avid rock climber.
5. I think I found my new favorite study spot at Notre Dame.
This definitely beats the fish bowl.
