The Best Feel-Good Movies for Your Next Bad Day

The opinions expressed in this article are the writer’s own and do not reflect the views of Her Campus.

If you’ve had a stressful day (be honest, you probably have, college is a lot), there’s
nothing like a good movie to cheer you up at the end of a long day. If you’re unsure of what to
watch, here’s a list of some of my favorite feel-good movies that’ll cheer you up!

“Turning Red”
I watched this movie when it came out, and then again with my friends about a week
later. It’s a great story with a powerful message that you’ll enjoy over and over.

“Wonder”
I saw this in theaters, and it’s one of my go-to’s when I’m not sure what to watch. It’s a
great movie to watch with your family or on your own.

“The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants”
Another one of my go-to movies, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is such a good
movie with a great cast and a story that you’ll keep coming back to

“CODA”
This movie won Best Picture for a reason. The powerful story about a hearing girl with a
deaf family and a passion for music will make you feel all the feels. Not to mention the
talented actors that tell the story so well.

Luca
If it’s Pixar, it’s bound to make you feel good, and Luca is no different. The story along
with the beautiful Italian village in which the movie takes place will make you love this
movie so much.

While I could go on and on about what movies I love to watch after a stressful day, I can
confidently say that these ones that I listed tell such amazing, heartwarming stories that will
make you feel good. I love curling up with some snacks after a long day to watch movies, and
honestly, doesn’t anyone? It’s such a great form of self-care, especially in college. Happy
watching!
