Five Chic Ways to Tie Your Scarf

Alright ladies, it’s that time of year again! It’s time to trade in the sandals and skirts for some sweaters and skinny jeans. I don’t know about you, but one of my favorite outfits is a cute sweater, a matching scarf, and some skinny jeans with boots. Here’s 5 chic ways to tie your scarf to accent that perfect fall/winter look that will really turn some heads.

#1 Multiple Knots

To achieve this cute yet simple look, all you need to do is fold the scarf in half then loop it around your neck. Pull only one strand of the scarf through the loop. Twist loop, then pull the other strand through. This would go great with a simple, single-colored sweater with some leggings or jeans.

#2 Knot, Twist, and Drapes

To get this chic and easy look, first fold the scarf in half, as shown above. Next, tie both ends into little knots, then open it into a circle. Next, put the ring around your neck with the knots behind your neck and twist it. Flip the knotted end around your head and pull the material away from your neck. Pull one of the knotted ends between your neck and the material, and fold it back over the top & fluff.

#3 Double Wrap

A girl cannot go wrong with this traditional look. All you need to do is drape the scarf around your back, wrap each end across your neck and around your shoulders. Wind it around the back of your neck then again around your shoulders and last, but not least, fluff the neckline.

#4 Loop-a-through with Knot

This style is perfect to add that pop of color to any outfit. First, fold the scarf in half and drape it around your neck with the loop on one shoulder. Next, pull the long end through the loop, then pull the long end up under the neckline. Tuck the end over the top and pull it back through the loop, then tighten and fluff.

#5 Go Square

For a windy day, this style is perfect to make sure you stay covered and cozy. Simply fold the scarf in a square, then, fold that square into a triangle. Stretch the triangle in front of your neck, upside down, with the triangle pointing down. Next, wrap the ends around the back of your neck and let each end hang in front.
