New year, same me. However, when it comes to new products, I have definitely changed up my routine in 2019.
Here are my current favorites, where to purchase them (with links!) & why I love them.
1. Love, Beauty, And Planet Shampoo & Conditioner: Coconut Water and Mimosa Flower
Where can I buy it? Target or Walmart
How much is it? $6.99/each
Why do I love it? I have been loving this shampoo and conditioner set, because not only does it leave my hair full of volume and bounce, but it smells amazing and I’ve been getting compliments on it every time I use it.
2. Undeniable Beauty Olly Vitamins
Where can I buy it? Target
How much is it? $13.99
Why do I love it?
We’ve all been there. That one awful Haircut. Well, for me I got the worst haircut of my life in December. Although I had asked for a trim, I got more than 2 inches cut off my hair and proceeded to run home to my housemates and cry. Although my hair and nails have always grown fast, I felt like I needed to speed up the process ASAP. After strolling through Target, I found these Vitamins and I have been using them since the beginning of January and have seen a dramatic difference in my hair. My hair has not only grown dramatically, but my skin and nails have never felt better. I definitely recommend adding this into your daily routine.
3. Drunk Elephant N.9 Jelly Cleanser and Drunk Elephant Polypeptide Moisturizer
Where can I buy it? Sephora
How much is it? Cleanser- $32.00, Moisturizer- $68.00
Why do I love it? Yes, I know it is quite pricey. But as I get older I have realized that with skincare and makeup, you get what you pay for. I first came across these products from a Birthday reward I received from being a part of Sephora’s rewards program. The cleanser leaves my skin feel so fresh, but doesn’t have a powerful scent which I love for my sensitive skin. It has helped with my small breakouts tremendously, and is so gentle for everyday use. For the moisturizer, I am still using the sample size since a little goes a long way. It is extremely moisturizing, but doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily.
4. Laura Mercier: Smooth Finish Foundation Powder
Where can I buy it? Sephora
How much is it? $48.00
Why do I love it? For Christmas this year, I received a Sephora gift card, and I knew right away that I wanted to invest in a new foundation powder. Although drugstore powders work, I have oily skin and I wanted something that not only kept me matte, but also gave me additional coverage. This powder comes in a wide-range of colors and after getting color-matched at Sephora, I was able to find my perfect shade. I also love how the product is compact, comes with a mirror and is easy to throw in your bag to touch up throughout the day.
5. IGK Good Behavior Spirulina Protein Smoothing Spray
Where can I buy it? Sephora
How much is it? $32.00
Why do I love it?
I splurged on this spray early in January, and now I don’t know how I ever lived without it. We all struggle with those stubborn fly away, but if you’re anything like me, you’re terrified to put a product in your hair that may make it oily. This product is definitely worth the price tag. Although more expensive then drugstore sprays, this product smells fresh and clean and will not leave your hair oily whatsoever.
I definitely recommend checking out these products.
