With four different and diverse campuses, the opportunities to meet and make new friends are endless. The university itself is beautiful from the beautiful Passion Puddle on Douglass to the open fields on Busch. Students here can feel like they are in the country one minute, then take a bus ride and be immersed in the culture of downtown New Brunswick.
3. The Opportunities: Rutgers is known worldwide. There is a good chance that if you travel somewhere far away from New Jersey, you will meet somebody from Rutgers or somebody who knows someone who went there. That is one of the greatest things about this University. When applying for future jobs, having the Rutgers name on you résumé is already going to look amazing, but having a Rutgers connection is even stronger. Professors have explained to classes that they favor Rutgers students when looking for interns or assistants because of that Rutgers connection.
